My name is Shelly Boelter and I am honored to be Principal at Kennedy Elementary. Working as an educator in the Willmar community has been rewarding and I look forward to continue working with the students and staff at our wonderful school.

Kennedy strives for a safe, supportive, collaborative culture where staff are caring and committed to helping all students achieve at high levels. We have rigorous support systems to ensure all needs are met. We assist students through our English Learner classes, special education services, and gifted education program. We place a strong emphasis on social and emotional learning and build communities of learners in all of our classrooms.

 At Kennedy, we work hard to create a nurturing environment where learning is an adventure and every student is celebrated.  Building community is something we greatly value at our school both within the walls of Kennedy and with our students' families.  We want everyone to feel welcome and have a voice here!
